Monstrously delicious, featuring a tutti-frutti, mango-banana-pineapple flavor, jackfruit may have originated in a mountainous region in the southwest known as the Western Ghats and is the world's largest tree fruit. Enjoy the fruit on its own as a snack, in fruit salads, or cook and use as a meat alternative for plant-based dishes.
