Make sure your graduation party goes down in style. This DIY Graduation Beverage Bar is fun and unique, and it definitely has class.

Oftentimes, I just go super-simple with graduation parties and toss sodas into a bucket of ice and slap some food on a table. But, I'm going to show you how to throw your next graduation party with style, with an easy DIY Graduation Beverage Bar. The base for the beverage bar isn't much of a surprise – it's a long table! You can use any tablecloth you'd like, but I personally love the rustic look of burlap. You can create a long table runner or cover the table with burlap squares. I find this goes well with the next step…

What is unique about this table is that you use a stepladder to hold the beverages! Make sure your ladder has steps on both sides to hold up the boards. Putting everything together is really quite simple – allow me to show you.

Here's What You'll Need:

  • Long table
  • Burlap, enough to cover your table
  • Stepladder (with steps on both sides)
  • 2 boards or fence slats, 4 feet long
  • Large galvanized bucket
  • Ice
  • Variety of beverages

Directions:

  1. Cover the long table with a tablecloth or burlap; then top the table with a balanced stepladder, right in the center of the table.
  2. Place fence slats or boards through the steps, using the steps on each side to hold up the board. I prefer a board wider than fence slats because it can hold more beverages. Repeat with the second step.
  3. Line up cold bottled beverages on the boards!
  4. Scatter the remaining beverages around the table, including some large beverage containers for ice water. Don't forget the cups!
  5. Place the large galvanized bucket on the ground below the table, full of ice and canned sodas and bottled water.
  6. Easy-peasy – and you've got a unique and cool beverage bar!
