Product Details

Have you ever met a hot sauce you didn’t like? Too hot, too mild, too much vinegar, too overpowering, too underwhelming. Why settle for someone else’s taste when you can make your very own completely customizable hot sauce right at home? And it’s fun! This beer infused, vegan DIY hot sauce kit lets you control the mix, so you create the flavor and the fire that’s your heart’s desire. And did we mention… there’s beer in it (not included)! Each kit comes with a range of peppers and products to get started: Ancho Pepper Powder. New Mexico Chili Powder, Dried Cayenne Peppers, Dried Chipotle Peppers, Dried Guajillo Peppers, 2 Mini Glass Beer Bottles, 2 Sets of Gloves (you can thank us later), 2 funnels, and a Recipe Card with our two favorite mixes: American Lager Hot Sauce and a bonus recipe for Amber Ale Hot Sauce. This kit is perfect for hot sauce and beer lovers who are looking to get creative in the kitchen. Begin by placing 2 Dried Cayenne Peppers, 2 Dried Chipotle Peppers and 2 Dried Guajillo Peppers in one of the bottles. Top off the bottle with beer, seal it airtight and let your mix sit for ten days. Once the infusion is complete follow the directions on the package to add other ingredients. When you’re ready, blend your mix to a smooth consistency, boil for 15 minutes, let stand for 15 minutes, strain it for a smoother texture and pour it back into the bottle using the included funnel. And that’s it—you just made your first batch of Beer Infused Hot Sauce. And now that you’re an expert, it’s time to experiment with the number of peppers and additional ingredients you add to achieve your desired hot sauce rank of mild, medium, hot or total fire. Just don’t forget to name your bottle before you put it out on the table.
